1.           How has the topic presented by the article impacted production in the sector covered, based on the findings in the article?

-Film-CGI: adds the popularity of production
-Superhero films are action films with humour




2.           What do your findings suggest?

-Superhero (Marvel movies) are making more money with each film.
-Although female superheroes are sexualized, the release of wonder woman is beginning to change perspectives.
-Marvel films are more popular than DC with film sales.
-The term ‘superhero fatigue’ isn’t necessarily true.
-Young boys are drawn to the violence in superhero movies

3.           What conclusions have you drawn about the impact of production? – Future prediction?

-Popularity growth of the films- bought by Disney
-CGI drawing people
Hybrid- blending humour with sci-fi and comedy
-Story Vs Special effects




4.           How valid is the information presented in the article?

- ‘Superhero movies have been a recurring theme’- this topic in the article supports my research- states the popularity of film sales.
- ‘Female Superheroes are sexualized in the media’- this supports and contradicts the article- states the roles that they play and the impact they have on young girls.
- ‘Marvel and DC, releasing more films’- this supports the article- compares the two movie franchise and shows their film sales
- ‘Superhero fatigue- contradicts the article- states the superhero movies that have made a lot of money globally and quotes from industry professionals
- ‘Today’s superheroes send wrong image to boys’- supports the article- states that they are more into the violence than the actual storylines and characters.
